| The Socio-Political Movement |
| As the Sushi Master myth began to take hold, its uniforms and training gear became coveted items amongst leaders of international and U.S. Olympic Sport. The Sushi Masters began to share their swag with a select group of them, and they, in turn, wore their affiliation proudly. What was once a competitive sport club evolved. Given the Club’s devotion to the principles and ideals of sport, it was only a matter of time until it turned into a socio-political movement. And given the choice by some people involved in sport to use it for personal aggrandizement and to enjoy the political machinations of sport more than sport itself, the Sushi Master logo has come to stand as an emblem of opposition to them. |
